COmpass REsonance instrumental & vocal artists present several baroque genres in our 42nd season final concert. Paul Miller returns—with his viola d’amore; Adam Ewing sings one of JSB’s few works composed in Italian language; harpsichordist Jonathan Oddie appears for the first time at the BBF. Ysmael Reyes performs CPE Bach’s most substantial flute concerto accompanied by festival favorites Nick Recuber, Joey Howe, Brune Macary and colleagues. Music Director Zachary Carrettin returns to his Venetian heritage by presenting the fiendishly difficult and utterly thrilling late Vivaldi concerto, “The Great Moghul.”
