Boulder Bach Festival presents FREE community events throughout the academic year.
Our education and community engagement events include public masterclasses, workshops, one-hour performances that include Q&A with the artists, and our Young Artist Competition in the Spring.
During our 2018-2019 season, BBF presented over 50 free events, engaging audiences of all ages and interests at venues including museums, galleries, libraries, schools, theaters, churches, senior living, and Dairy Arts Center.
Masterclass with Guy Fishman & Ian Watson—three of BBF's instrumental fellows will perform Vivaldi cello sonatas on period instruments, seeking the feedback of BBF guest artists. FREE

Due to our education and outreach events including BBF's out-of-the-Bachs concerts, 38% of our audiences attend concerts and events free-of-charge.
Occurring March 15, 2020, pre-college students aged 18 and younger apply to the first round with video. Finalists will perform live on a Steinway concert grand piano in the chapel at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church. Winners receive cash prizes.
