Boulder Bach Festival presents FREE community events throughout the academic year.
Our education and community engagement events include public masterclasses, workshops, one-hour performances that include Q&A with the artists, and our Young Artist Competition in the Spring.
During our 2018-2019 season, BBF presented over 50 free events, engaging audiences of all ages and interests at venues including museums, galleries, libraries, schools, theaters, churches, senior living, and Dairy Arts Center.
Masterclass with Guy Fishman & Ian Watson—three of BBF's instrumental fellows will perform Vivaldi cello sonatas on period instruments, seeking the feedback of BBF guest artists. FREE

Decoding the Freedoms and Structures in Baroque Keyboard Music.
2019-2020 Fellowship Artist Wesley Leffingwell will demonstrate and discuss topics such as improvisation, flexibility, embellishment, notation and style at the keyboard. He will be joined by Fellowship Artist, soprano Ekaterina Kotcherguina, in works by Barbara Strozzi and Giulio Caccini.
Young Artist Competition Finalists will perform live on a Steinway concert grand piano in the chapel at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church. Winners receive cash prizes.
Presentation and concert for Alicia Sanchez Elementary, in collaboration with Dairy Arts Center. Performance is free and open to the public. Please contact Dairy's box office at (303) 440-7826 for further information.

Due to our education and outreach events including BBF's out-of-the-Bachs concerts, 38% of our audiences attend concerts and events free-of-charge.
